About Strobus Forge

Strobus Forge is the workshop of blacksmith Rémi Bédard in Saint-Agapit, in the Chaudière-Appalaches region. He forges kitchen utensils and everyday objects by hand, shaping the metal piece by piece the traditional way, so each item carries small marks of the hammer and the fire.

It suits cooks and anyone who likes tools built to last and used daily. A hand-forged utensil makes a thoughtful gift for a wedding, a housewarming or a friend who loves cooking over a campfire. Buying from a rural Quebec blacksmith also helps keep a very old craft alive.
