JMUCC - Concordia’s John Molson School of Business hosts an annual competition

JMUCC – John Molson Undergraduate Case Competition 2019

The most happening Annual Business Case Competition in Montreal.

Did you know that Concordia’s John Molson School of Business hosts an annual case competition that pits 24 teams of business school undergrads from some of the top universities around the world against each other in a battle of business badass-ness?

Since 2009, the John Molson Undergraduate Case Competition (JMUCC) has brought together some of the best and brightest from around the world to compete in a week-long event that tests their knowledge, skills and performance under pressure.

Throughout the week, teams are presented with live business cases to solve using the strategies, techniques and knowledge they’ve gained in class. It’s an opportunity for students to put their hard work into action and get valuable, practical experience. Team solutions are presented to a panel of judges featuring industry specialists and respected business leaders.

Winning this prestigious competition is a huge feather in any business student’s cap, but even simply participating can be a major stepping stone towards a vibrant career in the business world. Organized by a committee of John Molson School of Business students, the competition also features several networking events and activities throughout the week, so that participating students can mingle, make connections, learn from each other, and begin to build powerful networks that will help them, and allow them to help others, throughout their careers in the years to come.

This year’s participating schools come from 13 different countries across 4 continents and include Concordia, University of New South Wales, University of Münster, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, American University of Beirut, National University of Singapore, TU Dublin, Universidad Panamericana and many more.

Applications to participate in the 2019 event are currently closed, but sponsorship opportunities are still available for businesses and organizations looking to build brand awareness and even recruit tomorrow’s top talent.
