About GV Snowshoes

GV Snowshoes is a snowshoe maker rooted in Wendake, the Huron-Wendat community next to Quebec City, in business since 1959. It builds every type of snowshoe, from traditional wooden frames to modern aluminum models. That range connects a long northern tradition with the needs of today's winter hikers.

GV suits winter walkers, hikers and families who want to get outside when the snow piles up. Aluminum models are light and practical for trails, while wooden frames carry the look and feel of tradition, and make a striking gift. Quebec's parks and forest trails are the natural playground for a first outing once winter settles in.
