About Gentec-EO
Gentec-EO is a Quebec City company that has made laser measurement instruments since 1972. Its products include laser power meters, energy detectors and beam profilers, tools that tell scientists and engineers exactly how a laser is behaving. They are used in research labs, universities and factories.
This is not a consumer brand, but it is a good example of the precision work done in the Quebec City region, which has a strong optics and photonics community. It suits students, researchers and engineers who work with lasers. For everyone else, it is a reminder that Quebec makes far more than food and fashion.
