Attention Montreal! It’s Time to MOVE!
Move where? Toronto?
Heck no!
Aside from the fact that we’re still months away from moving day, that’s not the kind of move we’re talking about.
We’re talking about moving… yourself! Stretching and moving your body as a way of getting active and opening your mind.
Back to our roots!
Let’s step back for a second. Way back. Back to before humans were humans. Back to our primate ancestors. Our ape-like ancestors were big movers! Constantly stretching, running, jumping, climbing and using their bodies in ways we often feel we just can’t.
Learning from our distant Ancestors
Maybe we need to bring ourselves back to this and learn a thing or two from our very distant ancestors.
So many of us spend hours a day in front of a laptop or hunched over our phones, using (or not using) the same muscle groups over and over, developing aches, pains and cramps and not creating any real movement with our bodies at all.
Matt Golt, Founder of Hudson Avenue, has decided to do something to change that.
Inspired by the Movement Culture created of Ido Portal, as well as recovery techniques by top therapists and strength coaches such as, Mike Boyle and Eric Cressey, Matt decided to bring movement to Montreal in this really unique way.

What is Movement Culture?
It’s new here, just starting, and something you definitely want to put on your 2018 to-do list.
What is Movement Culture? Quite simply, it’s about getting people moving. But also talking about different ways of moving. It’s about sharing ideas and discoveries from various practices to help each other find enjoyable, effective or even therapeutic ways of moving. It’s about expressing oneself through movement and going beyond the constructs of different movement practices.
The vision: To get you moving!
Imagine yoga practitioners and crossfit enthusiasts sharing ideas. Fans of parkour collaborating with soccer players. Ballet dancers and swimmers learning new movements from each other.
That’s the vision and mission of Matt Golt. To get you moving! In any way that feels right for you.
all ages, all sizes, all shapes
This project will absolutely get you moving, sweating, twisting, turning and stretching in ways our ape ancestors did. Ways that you never thought possible. It’s for all ages, all sizes and you don’t need to be in top shape to get into it. You will feel really great stretching out of your comfort zone and pushing your limits. Your body and mind will both thank you for it.
Intrigued? Check it out for yourself! Contact Hudson Avenue and book a session that works with your schedule. Most importantly, get moving!
