Improve your soft skills, get career tips from industry professionals and learn how best to prepare yourself for the future in the post-pandemic world with McGill’s free career event, PowerSkills.

PowerSkills was created in 2020 by McGill’s Career Advising and Transition Services (CATS) as a direct response to the drastic changes that Covid-19 brought to our workforce. CATS, whose mandate is to support professionals with lifelong career management skills and tools, aimed to help the people in need in our post-pandemic world.

The PowerSkills career summit was their answer to help people not get left behind and overcome new challenges when dealing with the adaptability of the new workforce.

Covid-19 accelerated the importance of soft skills in the job market and saw how increasingly vital they are to the changing job market.
